W-PuTTY-CD
is not more than
PuTTY communication in a
Microsoft Windows™
DLL shell. Nonetheless, this work would not have been possible without the help
of many people who assisted me in every aspect of it. I would like to pay
special thanks for
Simon Tatham, PuTTY Project originator,
for his continuous help and support, and for explaining to me some of the
internal design ideas behind PuTTYs code.
Also to my
company
OpenSystems Software, as they gave me access to the 400,000 lines source
code of
OpenTerm, the Precise VT-Terminal emulator program to use it, and its
complete testing platform, as a testing platform for W-PuTTY-CD, and for giving
me 60 days unpaid vacation annually, without firing me .
Also to
Magued Bishara, my first partner in software development, for helping me
writing the W-PuTTY-CD licence, revising the code, and choosing the name of this
site.
Also to
Omar A. Shaqa, the founder of
www.trademining.com, a great commercial site running completely under
Linux, as he
introduced me to the PuTTY project, and also for Testing W-PuTTY-CD with me.
Also for
all members of the PuTTY School
www.puttyschool.com, who help making this site one of the great sites about
PuTTY, SSH & Linux
Also for
everyone who sent me a bug report after reading this document
