LEGAL WARNING: Use of PuTTY, W-PuTTY-CD is illegal in countries where encryption is outlawed, and so if in doubt you should seek legal advice before downloading it. You may find this site useful (it's a survey of cryptography laws in many countries) but I can't vouch for its correctness. Note that, maybe these rules cannot be applied on W-PuTTY-CD, as it is not a standalone product capable of encryption by itself, but definitely they are applied on the final products that utilize it. I believe it is legal to use the source code for educational purposes in most countries, but I'm not a lawyer and so if in doubt you should seek legal advice before downloading it.
